WHAT IS THAT N DOING THERE

Loved it
The main melody is rather satisfying
I'd have it more on the front of the mix maybe, it feels a bit quiet at times (2:00, 4:33)
It's got quite a lot of variations; a matter that gets quickly important due to my spotty attention span. it's still a bit on the long side for my taste though
3:30 is quite quite remarkable
Soothingly reminds me of Uematsu's earlier works
130.4 is a wondrous BPM by the by

ADR3-N responds:

My work likened to that of Uematsu? That's one hell of a compliment. Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed!

your melodies are always so good. KEEP IT UP BABY
also;
"..where I simply sit and stare at the computer until a good melody occurs to me"
this is really good exercise

johnfn responds:

Thanks garlagan :D :D I have been listening to your song on repeat, it's so good! ^_^

cool name

Have my babies

Man your melodies are insanely good. Maybe even too good. Makes me feel too much.
Digging your kind of new approach on drums. More layered and punchier.
The track may be a little too long for my tastes and there are some parts that transitioned a bit fast towards the end. But that's just personal preference.
A little detail I tend to pick up on your tracks is that the crash cymbal you use tends to sound kinda generic and maybe even aggressive considering your style (5:20).
By the way 3:08 is probably my favourite part, when that little glockenspiel comes in, blending everything so well: Children playing, beautiful piano and nostalgic melodies. But then again the intro is absolutely gorgeous as well as 4:35 so I can't decide.
Also: etherealwinds!!! His voice is great and so unique! Adds a fantastic flavour to the tune!
Great track, keep it up John!

johnfn responds:

I'M COMING FOR YOU GARLAGAN :D

As I said, you've got quite a unique style, which is awesome!
I'm getting great VGM vibes. Videogames are the reason I started making music so you get an idea how much I'm loving this tune!
I'm a sucker for details and I think there's plenty in this track. I can't find a single boring part. In that sense the flow of the track is pretty much perfect, never too repetitive.
Ah 3:13 is probably my favourite bit. Excellent job on that one.
One thing I'd like is more loudness overall. Still, it sounds clean and balanced!
Also, is it 320kbps? Cause I'm noticing some drum hits sound a bit weird as well as the higher frequencies.
Anyway, solid track. Great job Spadezer!
Best of luck!

Spadezer responds:

I couldn't say what my speed is at. I don't know how to check that either.
Thanks for the positive feedback. Much appreciated.

Good luck back to you

Great vibes! Sounds fresh which is quite a rare thing nowadays.
You managed to make it long without it being boring. Tough task that one.
2:24 is exquisite btw.

Those arpeggios are delicious. --0:40 EVERYONE--
The 80's vibes are wicked. Great job!
Only problem I have is I think it's all a bit overcompressed. The volumes are balanced overall but the song is lacking some breathing.
Also, that final major chord is wonderful!
Keep it up!

Spadezer responds:

You're the only one to have brought this to attention. I may have gone a little overboard on the compression but it didn't seem to hurt it for my ears. I'll have to play around with the next song or listen to this one a few times over again to see if I can pick up what you're hearing.

And I'm glad you loved it ;)

*After listening to it*
I think I see what you mean by overcompressed. You have a good ear sir.

HELLO GARLAGAN :D :D :D

As an Argentinian myself, I have to say this is OUTSTANDING. Excellent work you guys.
I especially enjoyed Femme Fatale. Hard to believe you used a vsti!
And Milonga Nights sounded a bit like BajoFondo which is insanely cool!
Mad props for this piece

SoundChris responds:

Wow we am really glad that you as argentinian liked it. Its not that easy to convince someone if you create music from another culture he is a part of. So this really means a lot to us! It was quite complicated to make the piece human since the argentinean music in our opinion has a very unique and human touch. To recreate this realism brought a few almost sleeples nights of editing and composing. Thanks a lot for leaving your kind words here :D
